James Moln
Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
James oversees the bank's deposit and branch operations as well as serving as the Bank’s Human Resource Director. He has been with the First National Bank & Trust since 1994, starting as a Branch Manager. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 1998 and began his work with Branch Administration and Human Resources. He then transitioned to Vice President in 1999, followed by taking on Operations in 2005. In 2015 he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Branch Administration, Operations, and Branch Manager.
He is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and also graduated from the Advanced Human Resource Management Program through the Graduate School of Banking. He continued his education by graduating from General Lending School at the Robert M. Perry Schools of Banking at Central Michigan University
James is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Norway and also serves on the church’s Finance Council.
