Committed to both the Bank and to the communities it serves, Michael is responsible for investment management, research, and account administration.
He has earned his Bachelor's Degree in Finance, accompanied with minors in Economics and Mathematics, from Northern
Michigan University in 1987. Additionally, he is an Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager by the Cannon Financial Institute and has over thirty six years of experience as an investment
analyst, investment manager, and trust administrator.

He has extensive prior experience in the banking and trust industry prior to joining First National Bank & Trust in 2012.
Michael is a proud member and past President of the Kiwanis Club of Marquette. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors for
Community Action Alger Marquette, Food Start U.P., Marquette Township Business Association, and formerly was on the Board of the Marquette Regional History Center and Marquette Little League.
